There is still time for young people to apply for BAM’s free after-school program Arts & Justice.

Arts & Justice is a devised theater after-school program at BAM that supports 25 youth artists, grades 9 to 12, as they create a work of theater centered on a social justice topic. Teens work as an ensemble to select a topic they feel passionate about, and then direct, write, and dramatize an original piece of theater. The program culminates with a performance in BAM’s state-of-the-art black box theater.

Arts & Justice meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from October 16 through December 11, 2023 and ends with a final performance at BAM on December 13, 2023.

If you know any young people who are curious about the arts and are seeking to expand their abilities, please encourage them to apply for the Arts & Justice program by Saturday, October 14, 2023.
